42. LETTING COME / INTUITION

I think 99 times and find nothing. Then I stop thinking, swim in silence, and the answer comes to me.”

Albert Einstein

Intuition brings the truly new into the world. Intuitive solutions hold the possibility that something could be even better than you could ever imagine. Intuition comes not from your own thinking, but from the intelligence of life.

While thinking works like a synthesizer, creating new combinations from what already exists, an intuitive input draws with calm elegance and certainty from the connection to the big picture.

The mind is a capable problem-solving machine for certain tasks, but if you want to consciously open up to intuition and let something come to you, it is advisable to ignore the suggestions of the mind and be as present, quiet and listening as possible.
