You could say that life is a theater in which we all play our parts.
We are always – more or less consciously – playing different roles on the stage of life. In our personal or professional lives, we automatically play along with the circumstances. For example, if the role of father/mother is required, we play it as best we can. If a certain quality is required in a professional context, we try to guarantee it and take on the appropriate role. The card ‘Theater of Life’ is about making the inner theater visible.
Once you have drawn this card, you need to see what role you are playing in the given situation. This is not the role the Role Card specifies, but the role you have automatically assumed in the group. For example, have you ended up in a leadership position or in the opposition? As always, it’s not about right or wrong, it’s about noticing it and dealing with it in a playful way.
