28. LIMITS

It is an interesting experiment to consciously find out where your boundaries are. How much closeness or distance is appropriate for the situation? 

How much protection do you really need? Personal boundaries are a form of protection. If they are inadequate, you will not be able to stop the forces of the world when you need to. 

If your personal boundaries are unconsciously active, you may be protecting yourself in situations where it is not only unnecessary, but may even be hindering your own growth. 

When you feel good about yourself and are physically and mentally aware of your own presence, dealing with personal boundaries comes naturally. Then saying ‘no’ is just as right and good for the heart as saying ‘yes’.
